Training of specialists in security of ships and port facilities (ISPS).

Training is being carried out in accordance with the requirements of chapter XI-2 of SOLAS-74 Convention Special Measures for Improvement of Safety of Life at Sea and International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code). Education is being carried out in accordance with education and training programmes elaborated by IDGCA NP and approved by RF Ministry of Transportation on the 28th of October, 2003. The programme is adapted with the course recommended by International Maritime Organization and Coast Guard. Experienced trainers and specialists in counterterrorism measures and security of ships and port facilities carry out the classes.

Training is planned in such a way that our course leavers will be able to perform various functions, including:

  • To provide evaluation of security of companys ships and elaboration of security plans;
  • To prepare a ship for its security evaluation, bring security plans into force;
  • To prepare a ship for examination for the subsequence issuance of Certificate of Conformity;
  • To implement measures of a security plan of a ship in various conditions;
  • To cooperate with the Administration in the matters related to implementation of measures for security and control of ship conformance to the requirements of ISPS Code.

Internal and extra-mural courses. The residence courses last 5 days.
